About Us
Letters and Sciences (LTSC) is the academic advising home for undergraduates who are deciding on a degree-granting major. The staff is dedicated to providing quality advising to its students, and it is a place where the curious can actively explore and prepare for the challenging, yet exciting road ahead.
Academic Advising
Current LTSC students enrolled at the University can schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor online. Students may also contact our front desk at 301.314.8418 or 301.314.8419 for information about academic advising. Students are strongly encouraged to visit our Current LTSC Students site for important information and documents.
University of Maryland students who wish to become a Letters & Sciences major, must attend a Change of Major workshop in order to gain access to our advising services.
