Walk-In Advising

Description
Walk-in Advising is for students not assigned to a LTSC advisor or who are from outside of the department. They may obtain 15 minute, same day appointments with LTSC advisors.

Eligibility Requirements
Students with an assigned LTSC advisor are not allowed to utilize this same day appointment service. They must call (301) 314-8418 or stop by 1117 Hornbake Library to set up an appointment. However, students assigned to “virtual advising,” non-degree seeking students, prospective students, and students from other majors on campus are allowed to utilize this service.

Services Offered
Students can receive the following during Walk-in Advising:
• Removal of their (academic) registration blocks
• Advice on course selection options
• Information about possible majors
• Answers to general questions
• Referrals to campus resources and services

Hours of Operation
Walk-in advising hours vary each day. They can be obtained by calling (301) 314-8418 or stopping by 1117 Hornbake Library.

Please refer to the Letters and Sciences calendar for Walk-In Advising hours.
